This event focuses to discover the prayer of Jesus “On Earth As It Is In Heaven” in great depths. The learning together, deep revelation, refreshing worship and ministry in the presence of God will empower us for greater impact and lasting fruitfulness in our Missions call to go and disciple all Nations. YWAM’s University of the Nations is convening this global Workshop 2017 at a beautiful conference center in San Jose, Costa Rica. The program will include keynote messages, space for individual meetings, celebrations, Bible studies and processing groups as well as much worship and ministry to one another. This global gathering is for the whole YWAM Family of ministries and is multilingual in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

Registration fee is by categories according to your nationality of your passport.

Not included

Evening meals, airport shuttle (you arrange with hotel), daily shuttles for those not staying at the Wyndham Hotel. Limited transportation is offered to those staying at any of the hotels provided on our website at an additional cost per person.

Accommodation and Arrival

Each person is responsible for booking their own housing and transportation. The accommodation options provided on our website should include an airport shuttle. However, there might be an additional cost for this. Amounts may vary depending on accommodation option.

Children’s fees are as follows and include the two coffee breaks and buffet style lunches for 5 days:

Costa Rica is an easy access nation, which allows many nations to enter on a 30 to 90 day tourist visa upon entry either by plane or border. Click here for information about your visa needs.

If your nation is in need of a visa prior to entry into Costa Rica, please email us by August 7th so we can provide you with the necessary information and assistance for your smooth entry into Costa Rica for the UofN workshop. Please check with your local embassy if you are still unsure after visiting the previous mentioned links.

Upon arriving at the Juan Santamaria Airport (SJO) in San Jose Costa Rica please fill out your immigration form with your purpose for your visit marked as ‘tourist’ and the address where you will be staying as ‘<name of your hotel>.’ After immigration and customs, exit the airport and you will be welcomed by our YWAM host staff with a welcome sign to make your entry into Costa Rica a pleasant and enjoyable one. If you do not see the YWAM sign, please walk all the way to the right towards the “Malinche” restaurant and there will be YWAM staff there to help you get on your respective shuttles.

If you have booked any of the hotels provided on this website a shuttle should be available for you to take you to your hotel, please coordinate this with your own hotel. If you booked a hotel that is not mentioned on this website you will have to arrange your own transportation, but our team is there to help you to make this process as smooth and affordable as possible. Please verify before making a hotel reservation whether they have a shuttle to and from the airport.

Should you rent a car, we suggest you do so prior to your arrival. Such company will provide a shuttle to your car, which will be ready upon arrival.

The venue for our University of the Nations workshop is the Wyndham Herradura Convention Center in San Jose. It is conveniently located at only 10-15 minutes from the airport and nearby several other hotels as well as restaurants and food markets. Across the street from the convention center is a small mall called “Carriari” which provides some stores as well as fast food restaurants.

Welcome to Costa Rica. It is our joy to host you here for the UofN workshop 2017. For your housing needs during the workshop you have the opportunity to choose between several hotels according to your own budget, the majority are within walking distance of the Convention Center where the workshop will take place. During the workshop there will be transportation to and from the hotels mentioned on our webpage but this will be at an additional cost per person (one shuttle in the morning and one in the evening). Should you find other housing you will be responsible for your own transport to and from the conference center.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is usually included with your hotel room. As you make a reservation for a hotel, make sure to check whether breakfast is included or not. There are several little food markets close to the conference center for you to purchase breakfast should your breakfast not be included.

COFFEE BREAK

A coffee break will be provided with a small snack every morning and afternoon during the workshop. These times are included in your registration fee.

LUNCH

A warm buffet style lunch will be provided by the Conference Center where the UofN Workshop is held and is already included in your registration fee. We look forward to sharing a meal together as our YWAM family from across the globe at no additional cost.

DINNER

Dinner will be at your own expense. There are several restaurants in the area as well as some fast food chains across the road in the nearby “Mall Cariari”. There are also some little food markets called “Fresh Market” where you can get a sandwich, fruit or ‘light’ dinner snack.

ARRIVAL DAY MEALS

Meals on arrival day (September 4th) are at your own expense and are not included in the registration fee. Coffee breaks and a warm lunch meal are included in your registration fee starting on September 5th through September 9th.

During the UofN Workshop we will provide limited transportation at an additional cost per person to and from the hotels provided on this website. There will be one shuttle in the morning and one shuttle in the evening to each hotel. We are not able to offer any additional transportation to any other hotels and you will have to find your own transportation if you have reserved any other hotel or accommodation.

DEPARTURE

Departure day is September 10th,  you are responsible for your own transportation. Check with your hotel, most have an airport shuttle.
